About Tracy Allen
After an interlude as a law school professor, Ms. Allen has spent her professional life engaged in the private practice of law and the delivery of ADR services. She has built a full time national and international ADR practice utilizing multiple dispute resolution methods and techniques. In delivering her services as mediator, arbitrator, conflict management specialist, teacher and trainer, her case load is diverse. It spans the globe in content as well as clientele and ranges from cross cultural/international commercial disputes to business, financial, securities, employment, health care, family, real estate, construction matters and civility trianing.
Ms Allen is a Distinguished Fellow, Dame and a past President of the International Academy of Mediators (IAM). She is the 2008 Recipient of the Distinguished Service Award given by the State Bar of Michigan, ADR Section.

Licensed to practice law in Michigan, and admitted to US Supreme Court, US Tax Court and the two US District Courts in Michigan.

Training and Education
IAM Fellow Tracy Allen participated on a team of mediation trainers in The Hague, Netherlands, over the summer of 2003. The training team was part of the International Institute for Mediation and Conflict Resolution annual summer symposium, which was attended by 100 students from 30 countries. From there she has continued to travel to Rome, Milan, Naples, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Bahia, Toronto, London, Paris, Geneva and across the United States conducting basic and advanced mediation and arbitration programs for advocates, businesses, law firms, judges and international ADR service providers such as the International Chamber of Commerce, the American Arbitration Association and the American Bar Association. Ms. Allen devotes a significant portion of her ADR practice to the development and teaching of ADR programs and civility worldwide. She teaches both basic and advanced conflict resolution techniques for lawyers, judges, mediators, arbitrators, judges and court personnel, community dispute resolution centers, private companies and law students.
