Ms. Allen has more than 30 years of business, commercial, employment, corporate, tax, health, estate planning and real estate practice before State and Federal Courts and Governmental Tribunals. Her present practice is devoted to national and international Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) as a neutral and ADR service provider and trainer. She has conducted multiple mediations and arbitrations both domestically and internationally, including complex and multi-party cases.
She maintains an active continuing education agenda for herself, having spent many years being trained as an ADR service provider by such institutions as The University of Michigan, Harvard Law School, Wayne State University, The Straus Institute for Conflict Resolution at Pepperdine School of Law, Lipscomb University Institute for Conflict Management, The International Academy of Mediators, The International Technology Association of America, The American Arbitration Association and The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (formerly NASD).
Ms. Allen serves as an advisor to the American judiciary including the Michigan Supreme Court State Court Administrative Office, in the design and implementation of court annexed dispute resolution programs, mediator training and professional standards. She has been appointed to and serves on specialized national and international mediation and arbitration panels including the AAA, FINRA, the ICC, CPR Distinguished Panel of Neutrals, WIPO and American Health Lawyers Association. Ms. Allen also teaches conflict resolution to a variety of audiences through several academic and professional affiliations such as the University of Michigan Institute for Continuing Legal Education, Pepperdine Law School Straus Institute for Conflict Resolution and Lipscomb University Institute for Conflict Managment.
Ms. Allen devotes her full time national and international ADR practice to the delivery of ADR services as mediator, arbitrator, trainer, systems designer, conflict management specialist and lecturer.
