GARY N. DONOVAN, ESQ.

During his years as a civil trial lawyer, Mr. Donovan handled and resolved numerous litigation and injury cases in the areas of construction, premises liability, product liability, vehicle accidents, business, real estate and professional malpractice regarding architects, engineers and real estate agents. He has represented both defendants and plaintiffs. Many of these cases were resolved through arbitration, mediation and trial.

Beginning in the 1990s he served as a part time mediator, arbitrator and Temporary Judge in a wide range of civil cases for the Orange County Superior Court. When he joined the mediation and Temporary Judge panels for the Riverside County Superior Court in 2001, Gary amplified his substantial experience.

To move to a full time ADR commitment, Mr. Donovan underwent intensive training from the Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law. Mr. Donovan also participated in continuing education for the Temporary Judge programs in Orange and Riverside Counties.

As a mediator he is a very effective communicator and is resourceful and persistent in striving to reach a resolution in each case. TLC Resolutions was also founded as a result of Gary’s decision to serve as a dispute resolution neutral full-time. Since 2007, as a full time mediator, Mr. Donovan has mediated over 3,000 matters in the areas of personal injury, real estate, construction, business, insurance, employment and aviation.
