
Professor Schroeder is the Paul E. Wilson Professor of Law at the University of Kansas. Prior to joining the University of Kansas School of Law faculty, Prof. Schroeder practiced law in Kansas City with the firm Spencer, Fane, Britt & Browne. She has also been of counsel to Shook, Hardy & Bacon.
Professor Schroeder has served on the University’s Executive Vice Chancellor’s Task Force on Sexual Harassment (1992); Faculty Senate Committee on Tenure and Related Problems (1982-1983, 1985-1989); and University Discrimination Hearing Board (1977-1980). She has received numerous professional honors and teaching awards, including Outstanding Woman Teacher at the University of Kansas (1984), induction into the University of Kansas Women’s Hall of Fame (1984), and the Immel Teaching Award (1994). She has been a frequent presenter for legal education programs relating to all aspects of employment law.
