Nancy Caplan provides volunteer services for the District Court ADR Volunteer Program, by mediating small claims matters in the Catonsville and Towson District Courts. Ms. Caplan is also a volunteer mediator with the Pro Bono Resource Center Family Mediation Program. The Legal Aid Bureau has been providing free civil legal services in Maryland for low-income people, children and the elderly since 1911. Maryland Legal Services Corporation The Pro Bono Resource Center works closely with legal services providers and local bar association to provide pro bono services. The Women's Law Center of Maryland (WLC), a non-profit organization, established in 1971, advocates for an equal playing field in the law for women and children. Maryland People's Law Library has extensive information relating to self-help, low-income family resources and other valuable information.
